What is the Apni Chhat Mahfooz Chhat Program?
The Apni Chhat Mahfooz Chhat Program provides financial assistance to Punjab residents to repair and strengthen weak roofs, construct an additional room, and build an extra floor or storey.

Category 1: Roof Repair & Room Addition

- Purpose of Roof repair and strengthening.
- Purpose of the addition of a room.
- Loan disbursement: Two installments.
Category 2: Additional Storey Construction
- Maximum loan Rs. 1,000,000
- Purpose of Construction of an additional floor.
- Loan disbursement: Two tranches.
Monthly Installments
The Punjab government has reduced monthly installments to make the program affordable:
- Rs. 500,000 loan: Approximately Rs. 4,700 per month.
- Rs. 1,000,000 loan: Approximately Rs. 9,300 per month.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
- Must be a permanent resident of Punjab.
- Must possess a valid CNIC.
- The applicant or a family member should own land measuring up to 5 marla in urban areas or 10 marla in rural areas.
- Must not be a bank defaulter.
- Must not have a criminal record.
- Must meet the government’s eligibility requirements.
